Serious custom work is worth planning around. If you're coming in from out of town, I'll plan the sessions around your trip.
Austin's a good place to spend a few days: tacos, live music, Lady Bird Lake, and the studio is on East 5th, a few minutes from downtown.
Why Clients Travel for This
Color realism is a specialty, and the artist matters more than the distance. If my work is what you're after, I'll make the trip count: full-day sessions, a plan that fits your dates, and aftercare you can follow at home.
How a Travel Session Works
Larger projects are structured around full-day sessions. Depending on scope, a trip can cover one or two sessions. Return visits are scheduled based on healing timelines and project needs.
What to Plan For
- Book travel dates around confirmed session dates — not the other way around
- Allow buffer time for rest the day before and after a long session
- Plan for healing time before swimming, sun exposure, or strenuous activity
- Multi-session projects require a return trip — factor that into your planning
Logistics
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) serves direct flights from most major US cities. The studio is Wavelength Tattoo Studio, 906 E 5th St, Suite 201, Austin, TX 78702 (downtown, east of I-35), by appointment only. Parking details are sent with your appointment confirmation.
If you are traveling specifically for this work, mention it in your booking form. Projects structured around travel are handled with that in mind from the start.
