Surrealism is where I get to hold opposites together. Warm and cool, calm and electric, real and impossible. The rendering stays realistic so your eye believes it, and the idea is what makes it strange.
Making something look weird is easy. I want it to feel like it belongs, on your body and to you. It should break the rules of what a tattoo is supposed to be and still feel like it was always there.
